Karli began her career in Grocery Retail nine years ago in Dublin, Ireland, where she worked as Head Buyer and Manager for Lotts & Co, a group of Specialty Grocery stores. There, she began her journey in wine education, achieving the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. When she returned home to San Diego in 2021 she joined the wine team at Jimbo's Natural Grocery where she now works as Specialty Wine Buyer and staff educator for her growing team of wine specialists.

As Wine Buyer for Jimbo's, Karli works to source wines that speak to Jimbo's ethos of "doing the right thing", where sustainability, quality, and community are front of mind. Her mission when sourcing wines is to connect the community with wineries that support organic farming, promote soil health, and produce quality wines that are meant to be shared with friends and family over a beautiful meal.
